Development Awareness Fund (UK)
The Department for International Development (DFID) has announced its 2010/11 funding round is due to open on 1 June 2009, for projects with a planned start date from 1 April 2010 onwards. The fund is open to UK based not-for-profit organisations who wish to carry out work around public understanding and knowledge of global poverty issues.
The deadline for concept notes for this funding round is likely to be 30 September 2009. Full guidelines and applications for the 2010/11 funding round are currently being revised and will be published by 31 May 2009, on the DFID website. Information on the DFID mini-grants scheme (under £10,000), will also be available on the website by 31 May 2009.
