‘I Love Doncaster’ Day - Friday 12 February 2010

Local people are coming together to celebrate their area and support local causes on I Love Doncaster Day on Friday 12 February 2010.

South Yorkshire Community Foundation (SYCF) can match every pound raised with another pound from government match funding, and all money raised in Doncaster stays in Doncaster to tackle important local issues.

You can do your bit by taking part in activities on the day such as organising a Dress Down Day in your workplace. A suggested donation of £2.00 with gift aid of 56 pence added on can be turned into more than five pounds with match funding to support local causes.

You can add your organisation’s name to the list of organisations supporting the day by emailing SYCF (put I Love Doncaster in the subject line, include details of what you are doing and your logo). You will then be sent you your free ‘I Love Doncaster Official Supporter’ poster for you to display.

There will be separate ‘I Love’ campaigns for Barnsley and Rotherham, and for South Yorkshire as a whole.
