Phase 2 of the Development Fund
The Community Learning Champions Support Programme, has announced Phase 2 of the Development Fund is now open. Grants of up to £25,000 are available.
Funding is available to set up community learning champion programmes, which promote informal learning to adults in disadvantaged areas.
Grants can be used for full cost recovery for costs for a project, including salaries, overheads, marketing/publicity, capital costs and professional and legal fees.
Organisations working in partnership from the voluntary and community, public or private sector are eligible to apply.
There is a list of eligible disadvantaged areas that can access this fund, the list can be found on the website. Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield are all listed as eligible areas.
The deadline for application is 2 March 2010.
