South Yorkshire Community Grants Programme
The South Yorkshire Community Grants Programme is offering grants of up to £12,000 to voluntary and community organisations in South Yorkshire who provide learning opportunities that help unemployed people aged 18 and above move closer towards a job or training.
The Community Grants Programme is targeted at the following priority groups:
- People in hard to reach and/or deprived communities
- People with disabilities and/or health conditions
- Single parents
- People aged 50 and over
- Ethnic minorities.
Community Grants activities have previously included training advice and guidance, assistance with job searches, debt counselling and personal development.
The next deadline for applications is 10 September 2010, and the following one is 8 October 2010. All projects must be completed by 30 November 2010.
