SYFAB recognises that fundraising can be a daunting task, especially if you are new to it.

Introduction to fundraising is an interactive training workshop aimed at people who are new, or fairly new, to fundraising.

The session is an introduction to finding funders and presenting your project in the best way for a strong application. The course is open to anyone across South Yorkshire and will run next in Sheffield on 23 April 2013.

You will:

• Learn about sources of charitable funding
• Find out how to identify which sources of funding your project is likely to appeal to and why
• Gain experience of what potential donors need to know about your project in a written format
• Learn how to present your project to a potential funder.
