The course content covers the types or records your organisation should be keeping; methods of book-keeping, year-end accounts; funders reports and using simple excel spreadsheets along with a look at other IT based accounts packages like Quick-Books, SAGE etc.

Our tutor has over 30 years experience of working at AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) level 4, producing and using book-keeping, accounts, and budgets in a range of settings with particular expertise in community accountancy with voluntary sector groups and organisations. He also an experienced trainer. The course will be interactive and learners will be given access to a range of materials and sources of help and support.

Payment can be made by debit or credit card, or through your Paypal account if you have one. Your booking will then be confirmed immediately by email.

• Online followed by BACS

If you prefer to pay by BACS, you can provisionally reserve your place online by selecting "BACS / Cheque" on the payment screen. You then need to make a BACS payment using the details in the reservation email we send you. Please contact us if you are only able to pay by cheque. Once we've received your payment, we will confirm your place by email.
