Join us for a ‘Meet the Funder’ event with the Arts Council  England. With an annual budget of around £446 million, Arts Council England (or ACE) is the UK's largest public funding body for the arts and cultural sectors and organisations. This event is for voluntary and community groups in Barnsley.

The Arts Council England lead relationship manager for Barnsley, will be here to tell you more about their funds, how to apply. She will also answer any questions and talk you through the Arts Council, England strategy and funding priorities.

Lorna Lewis and Karen Walke from South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau will also be present to discuss other sources of funding and the support available from SYFAB and Barnsley CVS.

There will be time for a Q&A and help with any funding issues you may have. This event is aimed at voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations in Barnsley.

Parking available in front of the Barnsley College Business Centre Building on County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW for approx. £6 per day. The  main doors face County Way Car Park. There is no free parking. The venue is 5-10 minutes walk from the bus and train interchange.
