The Big Lottery Fund has completed the evaluation of its Wellbeing programme, and has comer up with some useful guidance on what works. If you're running a community activity relating to wellbeing, this is very useful as evidence to say that what you are doing is making a difference, and help you decide the most effective activities.
For example, they say that to promote physical activity:
"The more effective projects made exercise fun, either by embedding it in another activity, such as gardening, or presenting it as a socialising opportunity".
