Free Meet the Funder event: Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park

Voluntary and community groups from across South Yorkshire are invited to meet major funders and explore grant opportunities at this free, drop-in event.

Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is hosting the Meet the Funder, in partnership with South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation (SYCF) and South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau, at Canon Medical Arena on Thursday 12 November 2026.

The event will give community organisations the chance to speak directly with funders, ask questions and find out about grants that could support their projects and activities.

Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park’s Sheffield Legacy Fund has already donated over £80,000 to worthwhile causes in the local area. Grants of up to £1,000 are available for grassroots community organisations within three miles of the Park to support activities that improve physical and mental health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation.

Please note, parking is available at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, Worksop Road car park (£1 for up to 2 hours).   The nearest tram stop is Arena/Olympic Legacy Park.
