The People's Health Trust gives grants of up to £50,000 over two years to help deprived communities to help create fairer places to grow, live, work and age. They believe that where you live should not unfairly reduce the length of your life or the quality of your health.
Projects need to:
-
be designed and led by local people
-
create stronger connections between people
Organisations need to be not for profit, with an income below £350,000, less than 6 months unrestricted reserves, and be more than 3 months old.
It runs at different times in different areas. In South Yorkshire it opens for applications on Wednesday 17th August, closing on 14th September. Application forms can be accessed only within those times.
This event is open to any group in South Yorkshire. It will go through the details of the scheme; what they will fund, how to apply, and what support is available with applications through South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau.
